In this video Kevin explains the process of how to handle a common FSBO objection, "We're going to keep trying to sell it by owner for at least another month...."
They first key is getting them to agree to meet with you to see if you can help them get the results they way...i.e. as much or more money in their pocket. This is not a BS approach that many agents use, such as setting an appointment to "preview the house for a buyer," and then trying to turn it into a listing appointment. That kind of Bait and Switch tactic is a BS approach.
Second, is their motivation. If there is a strong motivation to sell, it's important to meet with the FSBO as soon as possible, because they will list with the first agent who can communicate the value that justifies the commission.
Third key is to learn how to effectively communicate your value and lead the seller to understand that you can get him a better result.
