Among the many horrors of war are injuries inflicted on children. A new report by the Save the Children charity says three out of four injuries inflicted on children in war zones are caused by some sort of explosion- from suicide bombs to landmines and air strikes. Because most of the injured children don't have access to specialist treatment, Save the Children has produced a handbook to help doctors treat the medical and psychological needs of minors.
